Trustblock Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 October 2026 · Version v2026-1
1. These Terms
1.1 These Terms govern your use of trustblock.run, its subdomains, the Trustblock API, widgets, explorer cards and related services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Silph Co. LLC, a limited liability company licensed by the Sharjah Media City (Shams) Free Zone Authority, licence no. 2427673.01, registered address Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates ("Trustblock", "we", "us").
1.2 By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you act for an organisation, you bind it. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1.3 A signed Order Form or written agreement prevails over these Terms for its subject.
2. What the Service is
2.1 Trustblock indexes and summarises smart-contract audit reports written by third parties ("Reports"), and links them to projects and contracts. We do not audit code.
2.2 Findings, severities and statuses come from the Reports and from our extraction of them. Reports and our data may contain errors, be incomplete or be out of date. A status such as "fixed" means the report's author said so. We have not checked it.
2.3 An explorer card, widget or listing means only that we hold data about an audit. It does not mean that a contract is free of vulnerabilities, that deployed code matches audited code, or that we endorse anyone. The absence of a card does not mean that no audit exists.
3. No advice, no reliance
Nothing on the Service is investment, financial, security, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation about any token, protocol, project or firm. Don't rely on the Service for any decision. You use it at your own risk.
4. Content you upload or claim
4.1 When you upload, publish, submit, confirm or connect a source for any content, or claim a profile, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, copy, process, extract data from, reformat, display and distribute that content, including Reports first published elsewhere, and to use and commercialise any data we derive from it.
4.2 You keep ownership of your content. You confirm that you have every right and permission needed to grant this licence, including from your clients, and that doing so breaches no obligation.
4.3 You can ask us to stop hosting content at hello@trustblock.run. We decide whether and when to remove it. Removal does not end the licence for data already derived. Copies held by others, including on IPFS, may remain.
5. API, keys and data use
5.1 API keys are personal. Don't share, sell or publish them. You are responsible for all use of your keys and account.
5.2 Respect the rate limits we set. Don't get around them with extra keys or accounts.
5.3 Credit our data as "Data: Trustblock" with a link to trustblock.run, and keep each record's date and status.
5.4 Commercial use, resale, redistribution, bulk export, and training AI models on our data all need our written agreement.
5.5 To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may change, limit, charge for or end the API, any plan or any key at any time.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- scrape or crawl the Service, or access our data by automated means other than the API;
- misrepresent our data, for example by presenting it as a guarantee, rating or endorsement, by changing it, or by removing its date, status or attribution;
- impersonate a firm or project, or upload content you have no right to share;
- probe, disrupt or bypass the Service's access controls or limits;
- use the Service in breach of law or sanctions.
7. Cards and widgets
You may display our cards and widgets only as we supply them, unchanged, and only next to the contract or project they refer to.
8. Errors, removal and listing
8.1 To report an error or ask for a record to be removed, write to hello@trustblock.run. We may review, correct or remove at our discretion.
8.2 We list audits commissioned by a project or on its behalf. We may decline or remove any record.
8.3 Listing on Trustblock is free.
9. Our rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may change, suspend or stop any part of the Service, edit or remove any content, profile or record, suspend or close any account and revoke any key, at any time, for any reason, without notice and without liability.
10. Warranty, liability and indemnity
10.1 To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and all data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement.
10.2 To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of funds, digital assets, profits, data or goodwill, including losses from exploits or vulnerabilities in any smart contract.
10.3 To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100.
10.4 You, including any integrator or display partner, will indemnify and hold us harmless against all claims, losses and costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your products that use our data, or your breach of these Terms.
10.5 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.
11. Changes to these Terms
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may change these Terms by posting a new version on the Service. Continuing to use the Service means you accept it.
12. Law and general
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction over any dispute.
12.2 Our Privacy Policy at trustblock.run/privacy explains how we process personal data.
12.3 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part or against a particular person, it applies to the maximum extent allowed, and the rest of these Terms stays in effect.
12.4 We may transfer these Terms. If we don't enforce a provision, we have not waived it.
